Selective Laser Sintering
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) uses an infrared laser to sinter powdered material, typically plastic, metal, ceramic, or glass, binding the material together to create a solid structure. SLS builds parts by fusing material layer by layer from the bottom up, without the need for additional support structures. Among several common 3D printing technologies, it has the highest material utilization rate and is relatively cheap.
